Let’s go, Angels.
The Los Angeles Angels return to Angel Stadium this Friday for a two-series, six-game homestand — the team’s first time back in Anaheim since their home opener stretch earlier this month.
Here’s what you need to know about the team’s homestand.
LA Angels homestand schedule
The team will play two teams during this homestand: Three games against the San Diego Padres this Friday through Sunday, and three games against the Toronto Blue Jays from April 20 to April 22.
Here’s the schedule and ticket info:
- April 17 at 6:38 p.m. | Angels vs. Padres | Tickets are sold out via MLB’s website, but SeatGeek does have some resale tickets starting at $61
- April 18 at 6:38 p.m. | Angels vs. Padres | Tickets start at $79
- April 19 at 1:07 p.m. | Angels vs. Padres | Tickets start at $11
- April 20 at 6:38 p.m. | Angels vs. Blue Jays | Tickets start at $25

- April 22 at 12:07 p.m. | Angels vs. Blue Jays | Tickets start at $11
Looking ahead: After this homestand, the Angels will hit the road for six away games from April 24 through April 29, playing the Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox. The team will spend a good chunk of May back at home, including their first May homestand on May 1-May 6.
This homestand’s giveaways and special event
Los Angeles Angels fans can score lots of freebies this season at the Big A, including this stadium-wide giveaway at Friday’s game: The Mandalorian and Grogu Angels jersey.
The freebie is fitting, since Friday and Saturday is “Star Wars” weekend at the ballpark. Saturday’s game will also be followed by fireworks.
During the game on April 20, the stadium-wide giveaway is an Angels hockey jersey.
Stadium giveaways are for the first 25,000 fans, while supplies last.
An incredible defensive performance as Angels outfielder Joe Adell robbed three home runs in a single game.
Angels 2026 standings, so far
As of Wednesday through 19 games, the Angels held the No. 3 spot in the American League West standings, with 9 wins and 10 losses (3-3 at home, 6-7 away).
Angels in the headlines: An eventful season so far
Despite being only three weeks into the 2026 MLB season, the Angels have had an eventful season so far.
Earlier this month, in an incredible defensive performance, outfielder Joe Adell robbed three home runs in a single game against the Mariners. The crowd and social media went wild.
During the team’s April 6 game at home, José Soriano pitched eight dominant innings against the Braves. Since then, Soriano’s momentum has continued to turn heads. Earlier this week, Soriano became the MLB’s first four-game winner of the 2026 season.
He was crowned the American League’s Player of the Week this past Monday.
Meanwhile, during an April 7 game at Angel Stadium, Jorge Soler charged the mound after Atlanta Braves pitcher Reynaldo López threw a high inside pitch that tipped off Jonah Heim’s glove. The incident led to a benches-clearing brawl in the field between the Angels and the Braves. Both Soler and López were ejected from the game.
Soler was given a seven-game suspension for charging the mound.
The punishment was reduced to four games on Wednesday, the same day he began serving the suspension. Soler will remain off the field through the Angels’ series against the Padres this weekend.
