Man accused of sexually assaulting women while working at Long Beach massage business

A man suspected of sexually assaulting women while working as a massage therapist in Long Beach was arrested Thursday, and detectives believe there may be more victims.

Victor Carlos Flores, a 35-year-old Long Beach resident, was taken into custody in connection with two incidents — one that was reported in March, and the second that occurred in August 2018, according to the Long Beach Police Department. In both cases, Flores is accused of sexually assaulting the women at the business on East Broadway, investigators said.

Flores was taken to the Long Beach City Jail and booked for felony sexual assault and other sex crime charges, as well as failure to update his address in accordance with sex offender registrant requirements. He is being held without bail. Police say the case will be turned over to the District Attorney’s office.

The East Broadway business also received a citation for allowing someone without a license to perform licensed services.
