A burglary investigation was underway in Granada Hills on Thursday night.
The incident was reported in the 11900 block of Wood Ranch Road around 8:40 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police say the homeowners got an alert on their phones that three people were entering their property and smashed through the rear window using a crowbar. No one was home at the time, LAPD Lt. John Kielbasa said.
It is unclear what, if anything, was taken from the home.
LAPD is reviewing surveillance video, which captured part of the incident.
This is at least the fourth burglary being investigated in the San Fernando Valley this week. Two break-ins were in Valley Glen, and another happened in Valley Village. Police do not know if any of these incidents are related.
The investigation is ongoing.
