A man suspected of fatally stabbing another man in Jurupa Valley has been arrested, authorities said Friday.
Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Mission Boulevard around 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. When they arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed multiple times.
The victim, identified by the sheriff’s office as 40-year-old Jurupa Valley resident Juan Antonio Navarro, was taken to a hospital, where he died.
RSO’s Homicide Unit took over the investigation and identified Jurupa Valley resident Javier Corrales, 39, as the suspect. Corrales was taken into custody near Vernon Avenue and 40th Street and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of murder, officials said.
The investigation is ongoing.
