Fire in Lake Elsinore prompts evacuations

Evacuations are underway after a fire broke out in Lake Elsinore on Friday, fire officials said.

The Vista Fire sparked on El Toro Road just before 4:30 p.m. and scorched 200 acres in less than an hour, according to Cal Fire.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
