Two men were arrested for stealing tires and rims in Thousand Oaks, the Ventura County Sheriff tells NBC4.
Around midnight Sunday night, authorities received a call about a car in Thousand Oaks that was connected to recent burglars in the area.
A description of the car and the suspects was sent deputies, who then quickly found the car and initiated a traffic stop.
Deputies located the suspect and found the stolen tires and rims in the back of the vehicle, along with other burglary tools.
Both suspects, who were said to be from central California, were booked for felony grand theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy, and misdemeanor possession of burglary tools.
The case remains under investigation and will be forwarded to the Ventura County District Attorney for possible criminal charges.
