2 jump from second floor to escape burning Canoga Park apartment

Two people jumped from the second floor of a burning apartment building early Tuesday morning in Canoga Park.

The LAFD responded to the fire at about 2:30 a.m. near West Bryant and Parthenia streets. The fire was on the first floor of the apartment.

Details about the conditions of the people who jumped to safety were not immediately available. At least eight people were treated for smoke inhalation.
