A San Bernardino high school student let his dance skills shine at a pep rally on Friday as he paid tribute to the late Michael Jackson.
Grooving along to the King of Pop’s hits, San Gorgonio High School sophomore William Hall put on a stellar show for his peers. Hall, who has autism, says it helps him bring his passion to life on stage
“I’m very excited to go dance at the pep rally and do the ‘Smooth Criminal’ dance like Michael did, and the fans are going to be stunned,” Hall said before his performance.
The teenager’s show comes on the heels of the pop star’s biopic, “Michael,” as well as on Autism Awareness Month.
According to Hall’s school district, the student said his autism helps him retain an extraordinary amount of information on names, dates and facts. He uses that ability to excel in his favorite class, history, as well as recall facts on Jackson’s artistry and legacy.
