You’ll be able to enjoy your next concert or sports game at the United Center with a THC beverage in hand, thanks to a recently announced partnership.
Señorita and RYTHM hemp-derived THC drinks will be available at the majority of concerts, shows and other live events hosted at the United Center starting in early February — marking the first major U.S. arena to offer the hemp-derived drinks.
Four drink flavors make up the initial lineup of drink options. Señorita will offer lime jalapeño, mango margarita and grapefruit paloma, and RYTHM will offer a Sativa beverage that pairs mandarin orange with natural caffeine.
The non-alcoholic drinks each contain 5 mg of hemp-derived THC.
To kick off the launch, Señorita and RYTHM are doing special giveaways and non-infused samples at two shows: The New Edition Way Tour with New Edition, Boyz II Men, and Toni Braxton on February 4, and the Life Is a Highway Tour with Rascal Flatts, Lauren Alaina, and Chris Lane on February 6.
The THC drinks will be available “multiple points of sale throughout the venue, including grab-and-go stations, bars, and a dedicated Señorita mobile branded bar,” according to the release.
The launch also establishes RYTHM, Inc. — the parent company of RYTHM and Señorita — as United Center’s official THC sponsor, according to the announcement.
“This partnership is a major milestone for the city of Chicago, and we are proud to partner with the United Center to offer Illinois’ leading THC beverages,” said Ben Kovler, RYTHM, Inc. Chairman and Interim CEO. “Bringing Señorita and RYTHM to the United Center reflects a simple truth: consumers want non-alcoholic options, and leading venues are responding. The United Center is one of the world’s premier venues and continues to set the standard for live entertainment with the introduction of these modern, responsible options.”
Kolver is also the founder and CEO of Chicago-based Green Thumb Industries, a major cannabis company that owns a stake in RYTHM.
You must be 21 or older to consume the THC drinks.
