Westminster names street after Charlie Kirk

A street in Westminster has been dedicated to the late conservative podcaster and activist Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot last year.

“Charlie Kirk Way” can now be seen in the Orange County city near the intersection of Westminster Boulevard and All-American Way. According to Mayor Charlie Nguyen, it’s the first city in the country to do so.

“As Mayor, I am proud that Westminster, CA is the first city in the country to dedicate an official Charlie Kirk Way,” Nguyen posted on social media.

Kirk was shot on Sept. 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem. Tyler Robinson, 22, was arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with aggravated murder in the case.
