Police are searching for a group of thieves that stole a truck right from the driveway of a West Hills home overnight.
The grand theft auto, which was captured by the home’s surveillance camera, showed a group of five people approaching the vehicle at about 3 a.m. Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. At least one person smashed the window of the truck to gain access to the inside and the group then hopped in and took off.
A detailed description of the individuals who were seen in the footage was not immediately available.
Saturday’s truck theft comes as the San Fernando Valley experiences a string of burglaries, leaving residents shaken up.
