Police are investigating after a shooting was reported Friday evening in Tarzana.
The incident was reported just after 4 p.m., after the Los Angeles Police Department received a call of a shooting. Investigators learned that two people were in a dispute that led to one person firing a CO2-style handgun at the victim, according to police.
LAPD did not say if the victim was injured in the shooting or if they received medical attention.
The gunman was identified as 35-year-old Markeith Cungious, who faces an assault with a deadly weapon charge, according to police. Bail has been set at $50,000. It’s unclear if Cungious has an attorney who can speak on his behalf.
Details on what led up to the dispute are unclear.
