Man dies after falling ‘significant distance’ on Mt. Wilson Trail, LASD says

A man died after falling into a ravine from the Mt. Wilson Trail in Sierra Madre on Saturday, officials said.

The incident was reported around 1:45 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

When first responders arrived, they found that the man had fallen from a “significant distance.” He died at the scene, the LASD said.

The investigation is ongoing.
