Approximately 50 homes in south suburban Dixmoor are without water Saturday night after the third water main break in the area in less than a month, the village said.
Around 7 p.m. Saturday, Dixmoor Village President Fitzgerald Roberts announced workers were sent to 143rd and Marshfield Avenue for a water main break in the area.
“Approximately 50 homes are affected. These homes have no water service as a result of the break,” the village said in a statement.
The village said crews were working to repair the break, though no timeline was provided.
No additional information was immediately available.
