Chicago police say a woman’s body was pulled from the Chicago River on the city’s Southwest side Thursday afternoon.
Around 1:19 p.m., the body of an unidentified woman was recovered from the Chicago River on the 2700 block of South Ashland Avenue by the Chicago Fire Department Marine Unit, police said.
Area One detectives are conducting a death investigation pending autopsy results, authorities said.
No additional information was immediately available.
