Team USA took home more hardware in Italy Thursday, with cross-country skier Jessie Diggins pushing through a rib injury to win bronze in the freestyle women’s 10km, and snowboarding star Chloe Kim taking silver in the women’s snowboard halfpipe.

Kim, the two-time defending champion, was edged out by 17-year-old Choi Gaon from South Korea, who won gold after a frightening fall on her first run.
Chloe Kim earned a silver medal and congratulated Korea’s Choi Ga-on and Japan’s Mitsuki Ono on finishing first and third.
The U.S. will have more chances to take home medals Friday, with women’s snowboard cross, mens speedspaking, men’s snowboarding halfpipe medal and more.
“Quad-God” Ilia Malinin will also go for gold in the men’s free skate.
As of Friday morning, here’s the latest medal count. Italy is in first place with 17 total medals, and the U.S. and Norway are tied for second with 14 each.
