Amber Glenn already had Olympic redemption with her compelling free skate in the women’s competition, but she still returned to the ice to deliver a mesmerizing Exhibition Gala performance.
Skating to Lady Gaga singing “That’s Life,” Glenn dazzled the crowd with grace, elegance and joy.
“All about authenticity, empowerment and oh so much joy,” Olympian and commentator Johnny Weir said. “Amber you are a queen.”
“An Olympian for life,” Terry Gannon said.

The gala marks the final figure skating event of the Winter Olympics, bringing some of the world’s best skaters back to the ice once more for a series of artistic performances with no scores and no medals.
Stars like Alysa Liu, Ilia Malinin, Amber Glenn and more will also skate one more time.
According to ISU, the gala is an event based on “pure artistic freedom,” featuring “original costumes, breathtaking choreography, and incredible performances.”
“The exhibition gala is an opportunity for skaters to go out and perform a program that is not judged. All of the rules and regulations that apply in competition do not apply in the exhibition gala, so you can go skate for as long or as little as you want, to whatever music you want, to whatever costume you want, and it’s even more free than it is in competition because a lot of skaters will do something super random and funny and fun,” Olympian Mariah Bell said.
