An attraction inspired by a hit game show is coming to Chicago’s Magnificent Mile.
THE CUBE, billed as a “high-adrenaline game experience” based on the TBS show with the same name, is set to open in June at 600 North Michigan Avenue. The entertainment space will feature 21 glass cubes, each measuring 13 feet by 13 feet, where groups will complete seven specially designed tasks.
The one- and two-player challenges are designed to test players mental and physical abilities in a tech-driven, immersive environment and give them the chance to win points, according to a news release.
To claim victory and beat the CUBE, contestants will need to master a variety of skills, including balance, memory, speed and judgement. The venue said everyone and anyone has the chance to win, noting quick wits and coordination are just as important.
Food and drinks will be available for competitors, and the space will also feature a private game experience, along with a dining and bar area for large groups.
The upcoming opening marks the game’s first U.S. location following venues in London and Manchester in the United Kingdom.
