A man was found dead Wednesday under potentially suspicious circumstances in a Morena-area neighborhood, authorities reported.
The body was discovered at about 7 a.m. Wednesday in a parked truck in a construction zone in the 1000 block of Donahue Street, just north of Friars Road and east of Napa Street, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The man appeared to have suffered some sort of traumatic injury of unknown origin, SDPD Officer Colin Steinbroner said.
Homicide detectives were called in to help determine if the death might have resulted from some sort of assault, according to police.
