Shooting at Wootton High School injures one person

One person was shot Monday afternoon at Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville, Maryland, police say.

The school was put on lockdown after the shooting happened inside the school about 2:15 p.m., Montgomery County police said.

No information has been given at this time about the person who was shot or the extent of their injuries.
