The Washington Commanders and architecture firm HKS released new renderings of their planned D.C. stadium Wednesday.
“The roofed stadium will be a dynamic, year-round destination for sports, entertainment and community engagement, integrating sustainable design practices and reimagining the fan experience through immersive spaces,” HKS said in a release.
The first designs for the stadium were released in January.
The design could evolve more throughout the process based on stakeholder and community feedback, the team said.
HKS said vertical construction is set to start in spring 2027 and should be complete in 2030.
