Man shot by police in Montgomery Village

A police officer shot a man in Montgomery Village Tuesday evening.

Officers were chasing a suspect around 5 p.m. when the shooting happened, Montgomery County police said.

Police officers at the scene focused on an apartment building on Lost Knife Circle off Montgomery Village Avenue, Chopper4 showed.

Paramedics took the wounded man to a hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police have not shared more information about the shooting.
