It is going to be a beautiful day Thursday as temperatures are moving into the mid- to upper 70s for daytime highs. A southwesterly wind will gust up to 25 mph.
Expect a strong cold front and push through late Thursday night into the day Friday. That front will bring rain chances of rain and a few storms to our area after 11 p.m. Thursday night starting from the north and moving slowly down through the south through the day Friday.
Temperatures will fall during the overnight hours from the 60s after midnight into the 50s for much of the day Friday. Northerly winds will gust up and over 20 miles an hour for your Friday.
We could pick up a nice little bit of rain putting a dent in our drought with rain accumulations anywhere from 0.25 inches to 0.50 inches. Skies will clear rapidly Friday night as temperatures fall into the 30s.
It will be a chilly Saturday but with plenty of sun. Temperatures will be in the mid- to upper 40s but with a northern wind, it will feel like the 30s and low 40s.
