Chilly start to the new workweek with highs only reaching the upper 50s in the afternoon.
A freeze warning was issued for 2 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday. Overnight lows are expected to be in the 30s, which could damage plants and outdoor plumbing.
Showers return for the middle of the week, but temperatures are not expected to suffer.
Highs return to the 70s and reach near 80 by Friday.
