Prince George’s County police believe they’ve found a man who shot and killed a stranger in a road rage attack in Temple Hills earlier this month.
Polo Shaw, 33, of Upper Marlboro was arrested on charges including first-degree murder, police said Monday.
Darian Ragland, of Brandywine, was found shot and wounded in his car in the 4700 block of Branch Avenue the afternoon of April 10. He was on his way to pick up his 7-year-old daughter but never arrived, his mother told News4, noting that police told the family he may have been a road rage victim. He was 39.

According to the initial investigation, “Shaw shot Ragland during a road rage incident,” police said in a statement Monday.
No details were immediately released on how Shaw was identified as the suspected shooter. He’s being held without bond.
Ragland’s mother wept as she shared that all three of her sons have died. One was killed by a drunk driver in 2002, and the other was shot in 2011.
“I can’t – I can’t make sense of it. And that’s my last child. I have three sons. I don’t have no more children now,” she said.
Darian Ragland worked as a contractor for Metro and was admired as a mentor and leader, his mother said his boss shared.
“He has a beautiful personality. Everybody loved him. That’s why his boss came by to see me on yesterday. He said his company where he worked at, everybody’s devastated,” his mother said.
Anyone with potentially relevant information is asked to contact police.
“You do everything right. You have the resources. You have the knowledge. But it still is not enough to save you. Then what’s the answer?” the film, “Listen to Me,” on Black maternal health, asks. News4’s Jummy Olabanji spoke with two of the three women whose stories are told in the documentary. The third died after giving birth.
