4 things to know about the weather:
- Clouds gradually decrease overnight
- Light winds and easterly flow will bring a cool/foggy start to the woork week
- Temperatures will remain at or below average
- Rain Chances increase through midweek
North Easterly flow will continue to be the driving ingredient for low clouds, cooler temperatures and the threat of showers and an occasional rumble of thunder to start the week.
Mid to upper level will bring sunshine for our Monday but a series of short waves from the North will keep our weather unsettled at best.
As skies clear tonight, low-level moisture will invade the region mainly east of I-95, bringing areas of fog and cooler moist air into the area. Fog will lift by mid-morning, bringing mostly sunny skies.
Tuesday will an increase in cloud cover in advance of the next frontal boundary that will bring the opportunity for light rainshowers into the evening.
A greater chance for rain and isolated thunderstorms will occur on Wednesday.
There is also the chance for unsettled weather for the end of the week into the weekend.
