4 things to know about the weather:
- A beautiful Monday
- Light showers possible Tuesday
- Some beneficial rain possible Wednesday afternoon
- Breezy Thursday – Sunday
It’s going be a sunny day Monday as temperatures rise into the mid- to upper 60s.
Our average temperature for this time of year is 72° so we will be just below that. Expect a very pleasant Monday. Temperatures overnight fall into the 40s.
We are back into the mid-60s for your Tuesday with increasing clouds. There could be a few light showers by Tuesday afternoon but only a 30% chance.
By Wednesday, expect plenty of clouds around and temperatures in the mid- to upper 60s. A piece of energy will move out of the Mississippi Valley bringing in a cold front with it on Wednesday. That will bring some showers and thunderstorms to the region by Wednesday afternoon. We could pick up some much-needed rain as well Wednesday afternoon but most accumulation sticks around half an inch.
Temperatures stay in the mid-60s for the end of this week with breezy conditions. Expect Thursday and Friday to be dry with a mix of sun clouds.
A wave of moisture could bring a few late showers on Saturday as temperatures stay low in the 60s. It will be breezy once again on Saturday and into Sunday. Temperatures move to near normal by next week going into the low 70s.
