Trying to score $30 concert tickets in the DMV? Here’s what to know

Live Nation is kicking off its “Summer of Live” concert series, offering $30 tickets to thousands of shows across the U.S., including here in the D.C. area.

From country and rock to hip-hop and R&B, acts include Guns N’ Roses, Goo Goo Dolls, Jason Aldean, Paul Simon, New Kids on the Block, Pitbull and dozens more top acts. Live Nation said the offer “includes a range of ticket/seat types across a variety of venues.”

The general sale began Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time. The $30 ticket price includes all service fees before sales tax. The offer ends on May 5, although inventory is limited and is expected to sell out.

When purchasing the tickets, fans should look for the ticket type labeled “Summer of Live Promotion” and add it to their cart. There is a purchase limit of four tickets per event.

The list includes shows at the Warner Theatre in D.C.; Jiffy Lube Live in Prince William County, Virginia; The Theater at MGM National Harbor and The Fillmore Silver Spring. There are also dozens of shows scheduled in Baltimore.
