4 things to know about the weather:
- Cool Sunday start, mild finish.
- Much warmer to start the week.
- Rain showers late Wednesday and likely Thursday.
- Drought conditions area-wide.
A frost advisory is in effect for our western and northern zones through Sunday morning. Temperatures could be near freezing, which could damage sensitive crops.
After a chilly morning, highs will only reach the low to mid-60s, which is about 10 degrees below average. As long as you have a jacket, you will be good to go for outdoor plans. There will be plenty of sunshine, and the sunshine will last into the start of the workweek.
The new workweek will bring warmer temperatures. By Tuesday, highs will get into the lower 80s. Much needed rain returns midweek. Friday concludes the workweek with dry conditions, but temperatures will once again be below average, in the 60s.
