Philadelphia police searching for driver after hit-and-run injures two people on motorcycle

Philadelphia police are searching for a driver who they said fled the scene after striking a motorcycle carrying two people early Saturday morning.

According to investigators, the hit-and-run happened just before 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, along Torresdale Avenue near Comly Street.

The two people on the motorcycle sustained injuries in the crash. Police said one of the victims, a man, is in critical condition.

Investigators believe the vehicle involved was a black Dodge Charger that left the scene immediately following the crash.
