A man and a woman were rushed to the hospital by officers on Tuesday afternoon after a shooting in West Philadelphia, according to the police department.
The shooting happened around 6:12 p.m. on Jan. 6 near the intersection of 44th and Market streets, police said.
The man and the woman each suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to a nearby hospital by police, officials explained.
No word yet on what led to the shooting or if anyone else is hurt.
