Fire crews were busy early Tuesday as flames tore through a rowhome along High Street in Philadelphia’s East Germantown community.
According to officials, a fire crews responded to a report of a fire at a property along the 500 block of High Street at about 7:11 a.m. on Tuesday.
At the time, officials said, firefighters believed there may have been people trapped in the structure when the flames broke out.
As of about 7:45 a.m., crews were still working to extinguish the flames and officials had not yet said if anyone needed to be rescued from the structure.
Also, officials did not immediately say if anyone was injured in this incident, nor did they say how the fire started.
But, an investigation is underway, officials said.
