A man has been hospitalized, officials said, after he was stabbed in the back of the neck when two men attacked him in an incident that happened in Philly’s Kensington neighborhood early Tuesday.
According to police, the incident happened at about 2:43 a.m., along the 3100 block of Kensington Avenue when a man was attacked by two other men.
In this incident, the victim, police said, was stabbed in the back of the neck.
First responders to the scene took the victim to a nearby hospital where, officials said, he was listed in stable condition.
Police are still seeking the attackers suspected in this incident.
Officials described the first suspect as a man wearing a brown jacket and tan Nike sweatshirt at the time the incident occurred while the other attacker was described as being a man wearing a navy-blue jacket during the attack.
Both attackers fled heading northbound on foot along the 3100 block of G Street after the incident, police said.
An investigation into this incident is underway.
