A Philadelphia man pleaded guilty to killing a woman and injuring another in a 2024 shooting in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, on April 13, 2026, 35-year-old Gregg Page pleaded guilty to multiple charges in connection with the shooting that killed Carley Elbert, 32, and seriously injured Kamille Stewart, 31.
In the early morning hours of Aug. 1, 2024, a witness alerted police of two injured women in the area of 60 North Main Avenue near the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
When first responders arrived, they found the two women and transported Stewart, of Pleasantville, to a hospital with serious injuries from a gunshot wound to the head.
Elbert, was declared dead at the scene, officials said.
An autopsy later determined Elbert’s cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head and ruled it a homicide.
Page was arrested the same day of the shooting and was found with a handgun and additional incriminating evidence, prosecutors said. Two co-defendants, whom investigation determined were not involved in the homicide but helped Page run away, were also located and charged with third-degree hindering an investigation.
Both co-defendants have also pleaded guilty to that charge, prosecutors said.
According to prosecutors, Page admitted to shooting both women and pleaded guilty to first-degree aggravated manslaughter, first-degree attempted murder and second-degree certain persons not to posess firearms.
The State will argue that Page’s sentences should be served consecutively, and if granted, Page could face up to 50 years in prison.
Page’s sentencing was scheduled for June 16, 2026.
