Human skeletal remains were found near the intersection of Wissahickon Creek and Germantown Avenue in Philly’s Chestnut Hill neighborhood on Monday, police said.
Officers found the human remains at around 6:41 p.m. in the woods by the intersection, police said.
According to police, the skeletal remains belong to an adult, but they are not able to identify a gender or identity for the human remains.
Police are continuing to investigate to determine the identity and cause of death.
