A restaurant owner in Bucks County has been charged with harassing and assaulting his employees over the course of many years, according to the Bensalem Police Department.
Police said they launched an investigation into Larry Ferreira, 59, after a former employee of Bagelocity Soup King reported harassment in the workplace.
During the investigation, detectives spoke to current and former workers of Ferreira who said he had inappropriate physical contact with female employees, sexually harassed workers in person and over the phone as well as verbal abuse that was ongoing over many years.
Ferreira is charged with indecent assault and harassment, police said.
