A man died after being shot multiple times early Saturday in Northeast Philadelphia, according to police.
Police said the shooting happened on the 3904 block of Frankford Avenue, which is believed to be a speakeasy.
According to police, a man in his 20s was shot at least three times. He was taken to Temple Hospital, where he died shortly after.
One suspect was taken into custody in connection with the shooting, officials said.
Another person was taken into custody at the scene after officers said they assaulted a police officer. The officer did not suffer major injuries, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing. As of 8 a.m., the scene remained active.
