A minor earthquake rattled New Jersey Friday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Society.
The magnitude-2.4 quake was centered around Whitehouse Station, in Hunterdon County, at 3:42 p.m., the USGS said.
It occurred at a depth of about 5.5 miles.
That level of quake is considered minor. There were no immediate reports of any damage.
