After splitting a pair of games during the regular season, the squads met in Bon Secours Wellness Arena with national seeding positioning on the line. The win for the Longhorns could potentially move them to the No. 3 overall seed and keep them in the Lone Star State at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth through the regional final. However, that won’t be announced until Selection Sunday on March 15.
