Barron Trump called British emergency services after witnessing a woman being attacked during a FaceTime call, a London court has heard.
The 19-year-old, the youngest son of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania, rang the British equivalent of 911 after seeing the woman being “beaten up” by a man prosecutors identified as Matvei Rumiantsev, a 22-year-old Russian former MMA fighter. The alleged attack took place on January 18, 2025.
Snaresbrook Crown Court in London was told Rumiantsev was jealous of Trump’s relationship with the woman, whose identity is protected for legal reasons.
Trump had tried to contact her earlier that evening, which allegedly angered Rumiantsev. The pair later managed to connect by video call in the early hours of January 18, when the assault occurred.
This is a developing story. More to follow.
