The Chicago Bears are looking to make a splash through free agency, trades, and the NFL Draft, after recent moves shook up their roster.
Among the biggest moves this offseason was the team’s trade of its star wide receiver, DJ Moore, to the AFC’s Buffalo Bills. It was a major deal for the Bills, who gained Moore as another target on the field for Josh Allen to throw to.
Chicago has a talented young receiving corps, but it could use another weapon for Caleb Williams to throw to as well.
Based on recent odds, the Bears could add a huge replacement for Moore in the coming week or thereafter, as free agency and trades will really begin.

Over at Polymarket, they’re presenting the latest odds on Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans. Based on their projections, the Bears have moved into the lead to acquire Evans, with a 29 percent chance of adding him to the roster.
There are several other teams in the mix, though. Polymarket also lists the San Francisco 49ers at 15 percent odds, followed by the Green Bay Packers at 13 percent. Clearly, Chicago would love to get Evans for their own use rather than let him go to either of these NFC contenders.
Evans is an unrestricted free agent (UFC) following a two-year, $52 million contract with Tampa Bay. He’ll now test his value in free agency after 12 seasons with the Bucs.
Evans has 866 receptions for 13,052 yards and 108 touchdowns in his 176 games for Tampa Bay. The 32-year-old is also a six-time Pro Bowler and won the Super Bowl with Tom Brady at quarterback during his stint there.
He holds the record for the most consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons to start a career. He had 11 such seasons from 2014 to 2024.
While the Bears are the strong favorites to get Evans, and several other teams are also vying for him, he could also return to Tampa Bay. Time will tell this week if he decides to stick with his longtime team or sign elsewhere.
