Police in Providence Rhode Island released a new photo Wednesday afternoon, asking for the public’s help in identifying a person who was in proximity of the person of interest in their investigation in the the mass shooting at Brown University over the weekend.
On Saturday, A gunman opened fire inside a classroom in the university’s engineering building. Two students—Ella Cook, 19, and MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, 18—were killed and nine others were wounded. The shooter remains at large.
In an X post, the local police wrote: “ENHANCED PHOTO: Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying and speaking to the individual shown in this photo who was in proximity of the person of interest. Anyone with information is urged to contact the tip line at 401-272-3121.”
