Charlotte Flair moved from “NXT” to the main roster in July 2015, helping usher in the women’s evolution era of WWE. Over her decade on the main roster, she has become the most decorated female superstar of all time, winning 14 women’s championships, headlining “WrestleMania,” and winning the “Royal Rumble” match twice.
Appearing on the “Trading Secrets” podcast, Flair was asked what the smartest financial decision of her career was. She pointed to a disciplined choice she made immediately after her call-up.
“My first paycheck from the main roster, which was 2015, I gave it to my financial planner,” Flair said.
When asked how much that initial check was for, the 14-time champion revealed a surprisingly modest figure for a top-tier athlete.
“I think it was $13,000,” Flair said.
Flair noted that she has carried a similar financial outlook and planning strategy since that moment. She credited her college years for teaching her the fundamentals of budgeting and saving, a skillset she refined while working as a personal trainer before her WWE career took off.
Currently, Flair remains a featured superstar in WWE, though she is not currently holding gold. While the user prompt mentions her “holding the tag team titles alongside Alexa Bliss,” recent reports clarify her status. Flair and Bliss did capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at “SummerSlam” 2025 by defeating The Judgment Day. However, they recently lost the titles to The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) several weeks ago and have yet to receive a rematch.
Flair’s most recent major appearance was in the Women’s “WarGames” match at “Survivor Series,” where she teamed with Bliss, Rhea Ripley, AJ Lee, and IYO SKY to defeat a team led by Becky Lynch and Nia Jax.
Following the event, Flair clarified on “SmackDown” that she only joined the match to help her partner Bliss, signaling that their alliance remains strong as they look to regain their championships.
