Governor JB Pritzker announced that the U.S. Small Business Administration has approved a disaster declaration for the severe storms that impacted Kankakee County and surrounding areas in March, allowing homeowners, renters, businesses and some non-profits to apply for low-interest loans for damages not covered by insurance.
