Is Discord down? Thousands of users report errors

Thousands of users of the online messaging platform Discord reported disruptions across the United States late Thursday.

More than 6,500 problems were reported at one point after 11 p.m. ET on Thursday, according to the outage tracker Downdetector.

Discord acknowledged the issue, writing on its website: “New voice calls are failing to be created. We are currently investigating.”
