MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) – The Miami Dolphins fired head coach Mike McDaniel on Thursday, according to team owner Stephen Ross.
McDaniel had said earlier this week that he expected to remain on the job.
McDaniel went 35-32 in four seasons, including a 7-10 finish in 2025 as Miami missed the playoffs for a second straight year.
The move comes as the Dolphins are also searching for a new general manager after longtime GM Chris Grier was dismissed during the season.
