LA shelters became overcrowded after more than 300 dogs and cats were seized in Los Angeles Friday following complaints about inhumane living conditions at a local rescue. The seized animals are being kept at other local shelters, but are considered evidence, and thus cannot be adopted, forcing other animals to be at risk of euthanasia.
