ESPN‘s College GameDay crew will be in Pittsburgh to report live from the 2026 NFL Draft.
The College GameDay crew, featuring Kirk Herbstreit, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard and Nick Saban, will host a two-hour pregame show beginning at 5 p.m. ET on April 23 — the first day of the 2026 selection process. Round 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft will begin at 8 p.m. ET with coverage on ABC/ESPN.
On Friday, College GameDay will broadcast a one-hour show before the second day of NFL draft coverage. This is the ninth season that ESPN’s flagship college football program will cover the NFL draft.
ESPN shared the news of College GameDay’s upcoming NFL draft plans with an announcement on Wednesday.
“ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will return to Pittsburgh for the 2026 NFL Draft, connecting college football’s biggest storylines to the next generation of NFL stars,” ESPN PR wrote in a release.
The ESPN College GameDay crew will welcome four special guests during its live broadcast.
Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback/projected No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza will join the show for a live TV interview as he prepares to watch the NFL draft with his family in Miami.
Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day, Notre Dame Fighting Irish head coach Marcus Freeman and Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal will join the crew live on set in Pittsburgh.
