Giants trade into third round of 2026 NFL Draft to select Notre Dame’s Malachi Fields

The Giants added one more name to their Day 2 haul.

Big Blue selected Notre Dame receiver Malachi Fields with the No. 74 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, trading picks Nos. 105 and 145 to the Browns to get back into the third round.

Wideout was a position of need for the Giants heading into the weekend, with the franchise seeking a true No. 2 opposite Malik Nabers.

Fields’ scouting profile rates him as an “X” receiver with elite size and strength.

He’ll join a receiving room that also includes Isaiah Hodgins and Jalin Hyatt, as well as newcomers Calvin Austin III and Darnell Mooney.
