The Green Bay Packers saw star quarterback Jordan Love go down with a concussion during their heartbreaking loss against the Chicago Bears in Week 16 NFL action.
Love took a brutal hit to the head from Bears’ defensive end Austin Booker. Immediately, it was clear that his status for the remainder of the game was in jeopardy. Quickly, the Packers ruled out him due to the concussion.
With the loss to Chicago, Green Bay is still looking to clinch a playoff berth. In order to secure that berth, the Packers need to win one of their next two games or have the Detroit Lions lose one of their next two.

Green Bay is set to take on the Baltimore Ravens at Lambeau Field on Saturday night. Love’s status for that game remains to be seen.
On Tuesday, it was reported that Love was participating in practice. He was limited in his participation, but it’s a good sign that he was able to participate at all.
Does his participation deliver any hint about his status for this weekend’s game? Matt LaFleur, the Packers’ head coach, spoke out and shared an update on his star signal caller. He also coupled an update on backup quarterback Malik Willis along with Love’s update.
“Not necessarily,” LaFleur said. “We gotta see how they progress throughout the course of the week, so by no means are they in the clear.”
That is a bit of a cryptic update. Basically, Green Bay has no idea whether Love will progress to the point where he can play against the Ravens or not. There is still hope alive for that to end up being the case.
In 15 games played this season, Love has put together a great year. He has completed 66.3 percent of his pass attempts for 3,381 yards, 23 touchdowns, and six interceptions, while also running for 199 yards.

Hopefully, the Packers will have their franchise quarterback on the field against Baltimore. Should he be unable to play, it seems likely that Willis will be ready to play.
The game between Green Bay and the Ravens is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET and fans will be able to watch on Peacock.
